Honestly, the finishing touches have been finished for awhile, but our plates have been a little full lately. Many apologies for the delay!
Screwing in the sheet metal to the base and bottom sides.
Affixing polycarbonate to the lid.
And the completed lasercutter (minus the laser, of course) in action during our kickstarter video shoot with Red Orchid Productions!
Speaking of which, have you heard we’re launching a kickstarter project soon? We’re within a couple weeks of launching and if you check back here, you’ll be the first to see what sort of awesome product our laser can make for you.

Holy crap, that thing is a LOT bigger than I expected! Looks fantastic! How close are you to producing some pieces with it? I have more than a few things I’ve been dying to try on a laser cutter, but have yet to lay my eyes on one around here. Nice job!

Thanks for posting the pics. Had no idea what it would look like. It’s awesome! Looking forward to the video.

Thanks Jason, Our goal is to be cutting by early to mid Aug. We’ll have you down to our space once things slow down a bit in the next couple of weeks. You can check out the cutter and talk shop about lasers and your wall plotter.

Thanks Chad – Who knew a big pancake box with a translucent polycarbonate top could be so good looking. =) And Tory and Annie over at RedOrchid Productions are spot on with their video work.

Not that I ever doubted you guys…but I still can’t believe you pulled this off – it looks amazing! I’m also super excited for the video and can’t wait for the opportunity to officially invest in the project via Kickstarter!
